The Hanaike Flower Battle is an exciting floral competition where creativity and quick thinking are key. I had the honor of competing against talented florists from Japan and China, and I’m thrilled to say I won all three rounds I participated in, becoming the champion!
Each round was just 5 minutes long, and the goal was never about creating something perfect, but about touching the audience’s hearts.
Here’s what made the competition so unique:
– Challenge yourself: Create a stunning arrangement using unique materials like driftwood and big branches in just 5 minutes.
– Process over perfection: The purpose is to connect with the audience, not necessarily to create a flawless piece.
– Push your limits: It’s all about trying something you haven’t done before.
– Have fun: Don’t take it too seriously — embrace the joy of the creative process!
It was an incredible experience that pushed me to think outside the box and grow as a designer.
